BC residents need to know that I am providing you with a Nursing service. Counselling falls under the nursing scope. Therefore, I am required by law to follow the scope of practice , practice standards, and code of ethics outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. I am only licensed in BC. I can’t provide counselling as a nurse to humans residing outside of BC. If you have any questions about this, please reach out.
You have the option of paying by credit card, debit or by e-transfer.
I require 24hrs notice for a cancellation. This will ensure that others can use that timeslot if you need to cancel or reschedule. You will be charged for a full session if you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance.
If you are experiencing an emergency whether for yourself or a loved one, please let me know as soon as you can.
No shows will be charged for a full session.
If I have to cancel your appointment, I will let you know as far in advance as I can and reschedule your appointment.
Please take a look to see if your extended health benefits (i.e. Pacific Blue Cross, Great West Life, etc.) cover Registered Nurse Services. Talk to your benefits provider before you see me. Ask what they cover and if there are any restrictions/requirements for use. You may need a Doctor’s or Nurse Practitioner’s order to have your sessions covered. I will provide you with an invoice.
Unfortunately, direct billing is not an option for nurses.
You will have to pay up front and submit to your Extended Benefit insurance company for reimbursement. It takes a few business days to get your money back.
If you want to work with me and don’t have extended benefits that perfectly fine. In this scenario you will be paying completely out of pocket.
